With full hearts, we gathered to celebrate a truly beautiful milestone in the life of our dear Sr. Dora, her 50th Jubilee.
The celebration began with a beautiful Mass, surrounded by her family, friends, and all who have been touched by her life. During this sacred moment, Sr. Dora renewed her vows, a powerful witness of her lifelong devotion and love for God’s elderly poor.
There was a quiet joy in the chapel, one that could be felt in every prayer and every smile.
Following the Mass, Sr. Dora made her way throughout the entire Home, visiting Residents and staff, offering each person a small gift. It was not just the gift itself, but the love with which it was given that made it so meaningful.
The celebration continued with a unique cultural performance featuring traditional Chinese dancers. The highlight was the vibrant Chinese dragon dance, which brought energy, color, and delight to all who watched. It was a joyful expression of heritage and celebration that filled the room with excitement.
We then gathered together for refreshments, sharing in the happiness of the day.
Sr. Dora is a true blessing to our Home. Through her care for our Apartment Residents and her devotion to the life of our chapel, she quietly and faithfully serves each day with love.
We thank God for her 50 years of faithful service and for the gift that she is to all of us.
