Each year, we are blessed to welcome back a dedicated group of volunteers from the Holman company, whose generosity continues to leave a lasting mark on our Home. What has become a cherished tradition is so much more than a day of service. It is a gift of time, strength, and care that directly touches the lives of our Residents.
This year, the Holman team truly went above and beyond.
With incredible energy and teamwork, they transformed our grounds in ways that will be felt for months and years to come. From laying fresh mulch and sodding large portions of our lawn, to moving heavy boulders, weeding, edging, and trimming bushes, no task was too big or too small. Every corner of our property received their attention, and the results are nothing short of beautiful.
Because of their efforts, our Residents now have even more reason to step outside, enjoy the sunshine, and spend time in a space that feels both cared for and alive. These simple moments of an afternoon walk, a quiet conversation on a bench, and the sight of fresh greenery mean so much, and they are made possible through acts of kindness like this.
What makes this day even more special is the spirit in which it is done. The Holman team of volunteers does not simply complete a project when they visit for a volunteer day, they bring joy, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to serve. Our Residents and staff feel that presence, and it becomes part of the experience. It is a reminder that we are not alone in our mission, but supported by a community that truly cares.
