Last week, we had the joy and privilege of hosting our Little Sisters of the Poor Christmas Bazaar, and what a fantastic event it turned out to be! We were thrilled to welcome so many familiar faces as well as new friends into our Home, all eager to shop, enjoy, and support Saint Joseph’s Home.
The festive atmosphere was truly magical, with Christmas music filling the air as shoppers browsed an array of handmade crafts, decorations, and delicious treats. Our talented Residents and Sisters have been busy for months, preparing Christmas Ornaments, beautiful flower arrangements, cozy hand-knit blankets, hats, scarves, delicious desserts, and stunning artwork.
We also had “Make Your Own Soup” and hot chocolate kits – perfect for gifting or cozying up at home this winter!
One of the highlights of the day was our popular cookie walk, where visitors filled their buckets full of freshly baked cookies with a variety of over 15 types of cookies – talk about a sweet treat!
And let’s not forget about the breads – banana, apple, carrot, and zucchini as well as pies – apple, pecan, berry, and more! Plus, we had coffee and donuts for breakfast and hotdogs, popcorn, chips, and soda for lunch – all prepared with love by our Sisters and Residents.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended and supported our event. Your generosity helps raise vital funds for Saint Joseph’s Home, and we are beyond grateful for your support. If you missed the Bazaar, don’t worry! You can still pick up some delicious leftover banana bread, zucchini bread, apple bread, or carrot bread in our front lobby, while supplies last. And if you’re still looking for a Christmas gift or something special for yourself, our Christmas Gift Shop is open daily in our lobby!
Lastly, if you’re looking for more ways to support us, we invite you to visit our Donate Page to learn about additional opportunities to help.
Thank you again, and we wish you a very Merry Christmas from all of us at Saint Joseph’s Home!
