On September 8, we joyfully celebrated Grandparents’ Day with our beloved Residents at the Little Sisters of the Poor Saint Joseph’s Home. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and love as families gathered to honor their cherished elders.
The gorgeous weather made our outdoor festivities even more delightful. Everyone was treated to an all-you-can-eat ice cream extravaganza, where Residents and their families enjoyed delicious flavors under the sun straight from the ice cream truck.
The highlight of the day was a special performance by Riley Elmore from Season 11 of The Voice. His enchanting renditions of Frank Sinatra hits brought back wonderful memories and set the perfect tone for our celebration. Residents, Families, Sisters, and Staff all joined in singing and dancing, creating an unforgettable experience filled with joy and nostalgia.
This Grandparents’ Day was a beautiful reminder of the love that connects generations. We are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate our Residents and the families who make our community so special. Thank you for being a part of our family!
