Part of being a Little Sister of the Poor is to go wherever you are needed. When Sr. Amy Kristine was asked to go to our Home in St. Paul, we couldn’t let her leave without celebrating her 50th Jubilee! Technically, her anniversary is in September (and a celebration will take place in St. Paul in September), but we never shy away for a reason to celebrate.
Fr. Corey Brost, C.S.V., son of Resident Mary Claire, celebrated a Mass of Thanksgiving in honor of Sr. Amy Kristine’s 50 years of serving the elderly as a Little Sister of the Poor.
A 50th Jubilee/Farewell celebration was held later that afternoon. We were able to thank Sr. Amy Kristine and wish her well on her new assignment.
Until we meet again, may God Bless you Sr. Amy Kristine and keep you in the palm of His hand!
