St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

By March 17, 2026April 8th, 2026No Comments

There is something about St. Patrick’s Day that brings a special kind of joy into our Home. Perhaps it is the bright green worn with pride, or the familiar songs that seem to live in so many hearts. Whatever the reason, it was a day filled with smiles from beginning to end.

Our Residents arrived dressed in their finest green, some with hats, others with beads, and all with a spirit ready to celebrate. The laughter began early and carried throughout the day.

Our kitchen filled the Home with the comforting aroma of a traditional meal of corned beef and cabbage, lovingly prepared and enjoyed together with Residents, Staff, and Sisters!

Sr. Mary Timothy, with her joyful Irish spirit, made her way through the Home, greeting everyone she met. With a kind word and a sweet treat in hand, she brought smiles to Residents, Sisters, staff, and visitors alike. Her presence was a reminder that joy is often found in the smallest acts of kindness.

A very special highlight of the day was a wonderful performance by the Dixie Downbeats, who joined us in the Auditorium. Their lively music filled the room and had toes tapping, hands clapping, and smiles all around. It was such a gift to see our Residents and staff enjoying the music together, caught up in the rhythm and cheer of the celebration.

Days like this remind us that joy is meant to be shared. We are so grateful for the laughter, the traditions, and the love that fill our Home. Days like this are possible because of the generosity of individuals such as you all who support our Home physically, spiritually, and financially!
