This year’s Christmas season at our Home was filled with warmth, joy, and unforgettable memories that will last for years to come. We were truly blessed to experience so many wonderful moments of celebration, all made possible by the generosity and kindness of our community.
Our Christmas Gala, was a true highlight. The evening was filled with laughter, love, and an incredible meal thanks to Tony Stallone, Andy Weber, and their families, who poured their hearts into preparing a beautiful feast for our Residents. The Franciscian postulants ensured everyone felt loved and cared for, and Cindy’s piano music set the perfect tone for an evening of festive cheer. We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped make the Gala such a special event.
Throughout December, the magic of Christmas continued! Our Residents were treated to a variety of heartwarming experiences, from a concert by Holy Family, to beautiful Christmas carolers from St. Peter and Paul Men’s Choir. We also enjoyed a fun-filled trip to a drive-through Christmas light display, cozy movie nights featuring holiday favorites like Elf, and a special luncheon with Santa for our Residents and local children. Santa and his elves even made a surprise visit to deliver thoughtful gifts, gathered with love by many generous organizations and individuals whom we are extremely grateful for. This experience alone allowed our Residents to relive the amazing joy of opening up gifts on Christmas that were gathered for them with Love.
On Christmas Day, we gathered in the first-floor dining room for a festive family dinner, and ended the month with an incredible concert by Laura Vandercar and her students, leaving our hearts full of joy.
Throughout this season, Brother Tom led us in Christmas sing-alongs, bringing our halls and ice cream parlor to life with carols and cheer. We are so grateful to all who have supported and prayed for our Residents. Your generosity and love have made this Christmas truly unforgettable. Thank you for your unwavering kindness—our Residents feel your care in every song, gift, and smile.
