Laughter echoed through the halls of our Home during our recent Holy Humor event, a joyful celebration of faith, fellowship, and funny bone. Residents and staff gathered for an afternoon filled with lighthearted jokes, cheerful smiles, and the kind of goof energy that lifts the spirits.
The room came alive as one joke after another sparked laughter and warm memories. One favorite came from a Sunday School tale: “Boys and girls, what do we know about God?” asked the teacher. A young boy replied, “He is an artist!” When asked how he knew, he said, “You know… Our Father, who does art in Heaven…”
Moments like these remind us that joy is a sacred gift. Humor brings people together, eases burdens, and reflects the light of God’s love in everyday life. Residents beamed with delight, soaking in the laughter around them.
