At St. Joseph’s Home, our main elevator has faithfully served the Little Sisters, our Residents, Staff, and countless Visitors for nearly six decades. Now, as vital parts have aged beyond repair and replacements are unavailable, we face an urgent need to replace this essential elevator. This is the only elevator in our Home that has the ability to go to every floor, deeming it a vital part of our operations. This Giving Tuesday, you can make a meaningful impact by helping us raise $120,000, which will be matched dollar-for-dollar by a private foundation. Your support not only helps maintain our Home’s operations but continues the 185-year legacy of St. Jeanne Jugan’s mission to care for the elderly poor.
