Each year at our Swing and a Prayer Golf Outing and Amazing Grace Gala, one of the most beloved and successful fundraising traditions we look forward to is our Wine Pull; a fun, festive, and meaningful way to support the mission of the Little Sisters of the Poor.
Thanks to the generosity of friends like you, this activity brings in critical funds to support the elderly Residents of St. Joseph’s Home, while adding a little mystery and excitement to the event!
Here’s how it works:
We collect between 100 to 125 bottles of wine, each with a retail value of $25 or more, including various premium selections worth over $65 with the occasional bottles worth over $200-300. Every bottle is wrapped and randomly numbered. Guests who purchase a cork for $25 draw a number and receive the corresponding mystery bottle to take home!
It’s a fun surprise and every pull is a win.
We are now seeking donations of wine bottles valued at $25 or more for this year’s Golf Outing on Monday, September 15th at the beautiful Club at Wynstone in North Barrington. If you or someone you know would be willing to contribute a bottle (or two!), we would be deeply grateful for your support. Every donation helps us provide comfort, dignity, and love to the elderly poor we serve each day.
