Our Residents took a delightful trip to Italy this month, no passport required! As part of our Armchair Travel series, Residents gathered together for a relaxing afternoon of exploration, culture, and sweet treats.
This month’s destination was a charming small town in Italy. Residents watched a beautifully filmed travel video that gave a glimpse of daily life, stunning landscapes, and the rich history of the Umbria.
To make the experience even more special, the video was followed by a taste of Italy: creamy gelato and crisp Italian cookies were served as Residents chatted about their favorite parts of the “trip.” The room buzzed with conversation, laughter, and even a few shared memories of past travels.
Armchair Travels offers more than entertainment; it brings joy, connection, and cultural enrichment to our community. It’s a chance for Residents to experience the world from the comfort of their own home, sparking conversation and imagination.
We’re excited to share that next month’s trip will be to Paris, by special request of our Residents. We can’t wait to “visit” the City of Light and enjoy another afternoon of culture, fun, and, of course, delicious French treats.
